1. Order Processing

1.1 Processing Time. Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

1.2 Payment Confirmation. Because we accept cryptocurrency payments, order processing does not begin until the transaction receives a minimum number of blockchain confirmations (typically 1–6 depending on the network). This can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. FPGABay is not responsible for delays caused by blockchain network congestion.

1.3 Order Verification. In some cases, particularly for large orders or orders shipping to new destinations, we may contact you to verify your order before shipping. Failure to respond to verification requests within 48 hours may result in order cancellation and refund.

2. Shipping Methods and Rates

We ship using major carriers including FedEx, UPS, and DHL depending on destination and package requirements.

All transit times are estimates and not guarantees. Carriers may experience delays due to weather, peak seasons, or other factors outside our control.

3. International Shipping

3.1 Availability. We ship internationally to most countries where export of FPGA products is legally permitted under US export control laws. We do not ship to countries subject to comprehensive US trade sanctions, including but not limited to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, and the Crimea region.

3.2 International Rates. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and declared value. Typical transit times are 5–21 business days depending on destination and carrier.

3.3 Customs, Duties, and Taxes. International shipments may be subject to import duties, customs fees, taxes, and brokerage fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping rates. FPGABay has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. We recommend contacting your local customs office for information before ordering.

3.4 Customs Delays. Customs clearance procedures can cause delays beyond our estimated delivery times. FPGABay is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

3.5 Export Documentation. We accurately declare the value and contents of all shipments on customs forms. We will not falsify customs declarations under any circumstances. Requests to undervalue or misdeclare shipments will result in order cancellation.

4. Shipment Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your package via your FPGABay account dashboard or directly on the carrier's website. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update after shipment.

5. Risk of Loss and Title Transfer

Risk of loss and title for all products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Once we hand your package to the carrier, FPGABay is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage during transit. We strongly recommend selecting shipping insurance for high-value orders where available.

6. Damaged or Lost Shipments

6.1 Damaged Packages. If your package arrives visibly damaged, please refuse the delivery if possible and note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt. If you've already accepted the package, photograph the outer packaging and damage to the product immediately, and contact us at shipping@fpgabay.com within 5 business days of receipt.

6.2 Lost in Transit. If your order has not arrived within 14 business days of the estimated delivery date (domestic) or 30 business days (international), contact us at shipping@fpgabay.com. We will open a carrier trace investigation. Lost shipments confirmed by the carrier will be replaced or refunded at our discretion.

6.3 Stolen Packages. FPGABay is not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered by the carrier but reported stolen ("porch piracy"). We recommend using a secure delivery address, requiring signature on delivery, or using a PO Box or package locker.

7. Incorrect Address and Returned Shipments

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect from a pickup point, we will contact you. Re-shipping charges will be your responsibility. If you choose not to have the package re-shipped, a refund will be issued for the product cost minus the original and return shipping fees.

8. Address Changes

If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, contact us immediately at shipping@fpgabay.com. We can accommodate address changes only before the order has been picked up by the carrier. Address changes cannot be made once the package is in transit.

9. Hazardous Materials

Some FPGA boards may ship with lithium polymer batteries or other components that are classified as hazardous materials under carrier regulations. Such shipments may have additional restrictions on shipping methods (e.g., no air freight for certain battery capacities). We will select the appropriate and legally compliant shipping method. International shipments containing batteries may have additional documentation requirements.
